This week, Paris is once again hosting fashion week. Our students continue their « fashion show project », an opportunity to find beautiful inspirations in this universe which is luxury and fashion. Today, the experience and the discovery of the different sectors are important and that’s why IC FOR MODELS chose Pascale Mouillard du bois to accompany our students during 5 masterclasses punctuated between classes and field visits.

A VARIED BACKGROUND

Mrs Mouillard du bois has a diversified professional experience. She is currently in charge of business development for the Art of Living and Art of the Table at Hermès. She has had different experiences and has never put any barriers in place. She has worked in real estate and then in architecture, but all of this has allowed her to acquire a lot of knowledge that has given her great versatility and good skills to put to good use in her future jobs. In particular, during her 12 years at Louis Vuitton, the company where she evolved and held three different management positions.

The classes with our students were held in 5 sessions:

The first class is dedicated to presentations, to allow us to know the background of each one and to know where they want to go, ending with a rare and very emotional exercise for our students which is to make the presentation of the background of his partner while addressing him directly. The following courses are focused on « Retail Luxury » to provide the knowledge and vocabulary that will be useful to know during their own business experience. After the theory comes the practice, that’s why two courses took place outside. One at the Samaritaine, visiting the luxury boutiques while assimilating what was seen in class, a visit where they could have a nice exchange with the director of Louis Vuitton – Samaritaine. Finally, a private visit to the Louis Vuitton store at Place Vendôme, which is a great opportunity for our students.

THE IMPACT ON OUR STUDENTS

His experience has shown our students that no matter what course they have taken, there is no such thing as failure and that everything they have learned will work in their favor at some point. Now they know that their experience is there to show them what they like and don’t like to do.

We would like to thank Pascale Mouillard du Bois for a seminar full of knowledge and kind advice for our students.
