Cette semaine les cours Art & Culture se sont achev\u00e9s pour nos \u00e9tudiants d\u2019<\/b>IC FOR MODELS<\/b><\/a>, en compagnie d\u2019Elisa Jehanno, notre guide conf\u00e9renci\u00e8re, par la d\u00e9couverte du patrimoine culturel fran\u00e7ais afin qu\u2019ils approfondissent leurs connaissances sur l\u2019histoire de Paris et ses monuments pour certain, et d\u2019autres de d\u00e9couvrir notre capital<\/b><\/p>\n

D\u00e9couvertes des quartiers parisiens<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tout d\u2019abord, les visites guid\u00e9es se sont d\u00e9roul\u00e9es au sein des rues de Paris.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0C\u2019est par le quartier latin, que les 3\u00e8me ann\u00e9e ont pu d\u00e9buter leur apprentissage. La visite fut compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par une explication sur la cr\u00e9ation de la ville de Paris avec l\u2019\u00cele de la Cit\u00e9 et la distinction entre la Rive Droite et la Rive Gauche. Ainsi \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du mus\u00e9e du Louvre s\u2019est termin\u00e9 ce cours en abordant l\u2019histoire de celui-ci avant de devenir un mus\u00e9e et cela face aux jardins des Tuileries. Ensuite, aucune visite de Paris n\u2019est compl\u00e8te sans avoir explor\u00e9 un de ses quartiers historiques, reconnu pour son \u00e9nergie festive et romantique ainsi que son architecture et son cosmopolitisme, le Marais.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0Monuments historiques\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Dans une seconde partie, les cours se sont poursuivis par la d\u00e9couverte de monuments comme le Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Orsay, le Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles et l\u2019Op\u00e9ra Garnier. Concernant le Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Orsay qui se situe face \u00e0 la Seine, c\u2019\u00e9tait avant une gare consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme carrefour entre les diff\u00e9rentes villes mais qui \u00e9tait trop petite pour le flux qu\u2019elle accueillait chaque jour. Avant de devenir Mus\u00e9e, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 le lieu de tournage pour de nombreux films avant d\u2019\u00eatre site d\u2019accueil pour des milliers d\u2019\u0153uvres. On compare \u00e9galement la devanture de l\u2019ancienne gare avec celle de Londres. Puis le Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles, demeure de Louis XIV \u00ab dit le roi soleil \u00bb est un symbole du patrimoine fran\u00e7ais qui a marqu\u00e9 nos \u00e9tudiants pour son histoire et sa beaut\u00e9. Enfin, l\u2019Op\u00e9ra Garnier et sa somptueuse salle ont permis aux \u00e9tudiants de d\u00e9couvrir que ce monument a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit \u00e0 la suite d\u2019un concours dans le cadre des transformations de Paris par le pr\u00e9fet Haussmann et qu\u2019il est class\u00e9 monument historique depuis 1923.<\/b><\/p>\n

Merci a Mme Jehanno pour ces visites passionnantes, de quoi enrichir la culture fran\u00e7aise des \u00e9tudiants ainsi que du monde qui les entoure.<\/b><\/p>\n

Outside classes: Art & Culture in Paris<\/span><\/h1>\n

This week the Art & Culture classes ended for our IC FOR MODELS students, in the company of Elisa Jehanno, our tour guide, with the discovery of the French cultural heritage so that they could deepen their knowledge on the history of Paris and its monuments for some, and others to discover our capital<\/b><\/p>\n

Discovering the Parisian districts<\/b><\/h3>\n

First of all, the guided tours took place in the streets of Paris.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0It is by the Latin Quarter that the 3rd year students were able to start their learning. The visit was completed by an explanation of the creation of the city of Paris with the \u00cele de la Cit\u00e9 and the distinction between the Right Bank and the Left Bank. The course ended outside the Louvre Museum with a discussion of its history before it became a museum and that in front of the Tuileries gardens. Then, no visit to Paris is complete without exploring one of its historic districts, known for its festive and romantic energy as well as its architecture and cosmopolitanism, the Marais.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0Historic Monuments\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

In a second part, the courses continued with the discovery of monuments such as the museum d\u2019Orsay, the Palace of Versailles, and the Op\u00e9ra Garnier. Concerning the museum d\u2019Orsay, which is in front of the Seine, it used to be a train station considered as a crossroads between different cities, but it was too small for the flow of people that it received every day. Before becoming a museum, it was the location for the shooting of many films before becoming the site for thousands of works. We also compare the front of the old station with that of London. Then the Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles, home of Louis XIV \u00ab the sun king \u00bb is a symbol of French heritage that has marked our students for its history and beauty. Finally, the Garnier Opera House and its sumptuous hall allowed the students to discover that this monument was built following a competition within the framework of the transformations of Paris by the prefect Haussmann and that it was classified as a historical monument since 1923.<\/b><\/p>\n
